Karolina Gortych-Michalak
Linguist, Modern Greek linguists. Main scientific interests: legal language, legal contrastive linguistics, constitutional civil rights, language varieties including macrolanguages and legal languages, applied linguistics, sociolinguistics, theory and practice of translation. Assistan Professor at Adam Mickiewicz University of Poznan.
In the project COLING she conducts activity in the frame of i) Documentation and archiving of linguistic-cultural diversity, ii) Multidisciplinary research in language and culture and finally she assists in iii) Developing innovative teaching methodologies. Simultaneously she investigates linguistic, social and legal status of Greko, Greek speaking world’s attitude to Greko, dissemination of knowledge about language and culture diversities, education of severly endangered languages.
