Le lingue di minoranza: tutela giuridica, vitalità e identità
On Thursday 9 March 2023, the Departments of Law and Ancient and Modern Civilizations (DICAM) are organizing a study day on “Minority languages: legal protection, vitality and identity”.
Both the linguistic aspects, supervised by Prof. Alessandro De Angelis, full professor of glottology and linguistics at DICAM, and the juridical ones, supervised by Prof. Antonio Saitta, full professor of constitutional law, will be examined.
During the meeting, some members of the COLING project will also speak on the theme of linguistic revitalization, the main research area of the project, especially about the language and culture of the Frisians in the Netherlands and the Greeks of Calabria.
