Campus Fryslân and the Fryske Akademy present a symposium on:
Technologies for Minority Languages
This symposium is dedicated to activities through which researchers, companies and native speakers can strengthen Frisian. Speakers from academia, the private sector and government discuss and showcase their work with interactive demonstrations of games and apps. This symposium is part of the “Minority Languages, Major Opportunities. Collaborative Research, Community Engagement and Innovative Educational Tools – COLING” research network (project No. 778384). COLING is funded by the European Union’s Marie Skłodowska-Curie Action Research and Innovation Staff Exchange. Its members document and archive linguistic-cultural diversity and language practices in order to strengthen and revitalise minority languages.
