The cultural revitalization of the post-industrial district of Księży Młyn in Łódź (Poland) – the site-specific actions as a part of the “Filling” project

Please come join us for a Recovering Voices seminar given by our visiting research fellow, Marta Ostajewska, from the University of Warsaw, Poland. We will host this on:

Marta’s research is on exploring ideas about the body as an archive, and she will talk about her work on oral history and cultural revitalization in a Polish industrial district. The title of her talk is “The cultural revitalization of the post-industrial district of Księży Młyn in Łódź (Poland) – the site-specific actions as a part of the “Filling” project”. She is with Recovering Voices as part of a partnership program on language and cultural revitalization with the University of Warsaw, the Americas Research Network, the Council of American Overseas Research Centers, and the University of North Carolina.
